Recently, the trend for butterfly pallu sarees has become really popular. I think Sushmita Sen first made the butterfly pallu sari popular in Main hoon na. Remember the gorgeous red saree she wore that was a rage all of a sudden? But I must admit the butterfly pallu saris I found below are equally gorgeous. Whether you are looking to wear them for a wedding reception or a casual get together, these are sure to steal the show.

Shimmer Sarees & Georgette Sarees Latest Trend
Wedding Season 2012 is here and Shimmer Sarees and Georgette Sarees are the hottest trend this wedding season. Usage of sequins - stones and cutdana in form of lovely flora pattern
over the saree is new this season. The tissue piping along the
saree edge adds elegance to it. Here are a few of my favourites.

Bridal Kundan Jewelry Necklaces and Earrings
Kundan jewelry draws its inspiration from the art, wealth, and power of the Mughal Dynasty. 22k gold is the most featured metal, with rose cut diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and other precious stones surrounded by the detailed pattern-work that characterizes the jewelry of this era. Most of the handmade jewelry pieces in the collection are completely unique, hand-crafted by some of the best jewelry artisans in India who spend 2-8 weeks creating a single intricate work. This one of a kind jewelry beholds painstaking and breath-taking artistic detail, and the use of only the finest materials makes the Kundan jewelry a favorite amongst celebrities and high-profile clientele throughout the world. The splendor and brilliance of the Mughal empire comes through in the works of art that comprise the distinctive and world-renowned Kundan jewelry collection, which adds timelessness and depth to the dynamic selection of earrings, pendants, broaches, bangles, designer Indian necklaces, designer rings. Some of my favourite Kundan Bridal Sets are shown below which include Necklace, Earrings, Maang Tika, Nath and Haath Phool in dull gold finish studded with pachi kundan and rhodonite stones.

India Bridal Fashion Week 2012
Tarun Tahiliani opened India Bridal Fashion Week 2012 in Mumbai last night with a Sufi-esque show set in an enchanted garden of overgrown, overhanging vines woven around a U-shaped ramp twinkling with fairy light chandeliers. Highlights from Tahiliani this season include peplum cholis and asymmetrical bridal lehengas that curl up shorter in the front and trail in the back. Also included were slim mermaid gown kurtas, trim sharara silhouettes and the fascinating evolution of the pre-stitched, belted sari and the sari gown — both of which Tahiliani is credited for launching into modern bridal trends. Tahiliani balances the value of traditional couture hand embellishment (zardozi, antique gold work and appliqué) with meshes of Swarovski Elements that serve to modernize Indian bridal couture by making it lightweight and more fun to wear. Here are some stills from the India Bridal Fashion Week.
