Showcasing Wedding halls in Mumbai - Matoshri Hall

I recently attended a wedding in Mumbai at Matoshri wedding hall in Jogeshwari West and I was mighty impressed. So I decided to write about what I liked, so others who are planning to have a wedding and are undecided about which wedding hall to pick can take a look and decide. First things first, they have three halls.

One hall is a small that fits about 150 people. They might tell you that it fits 200, but it really is meant for 150, otherwise its just too crowded and not fun.

The second hall is called Maharaja hall and it can easily fit 200-250 people. The good thing about this hall is that it is perfect for weddings. They put the wedding mandap in the center of the hall and arrange seating on all four sides, so you are literally the "center of attraction"!! And also it gives everyone a chance to see the wedding up close, instead of being seated far back behind in traditional seating. That way people really get to be a part of the wedding experience. The second best thing about this hall is that there is a separate area next to the hall for food. So none of the food smell gets in the hall! And its very spacious and doesn't feel crowded at all. This hall also has two rooms with bathrooms for the bride and groom to get ready or wait in.

The third hall is not a hall but a reception lawn. Again, this can fit nearly 300-350 people. I loved the entrance to this hall. The decorators had created a beautiful lighted pathway to the main reception area. Here are pictures of the reception area.

Ashwarya Rai Kundan Jewelry

I love the Kundan jewellery sets that Aishwarya wore in Jodhaa Akbar. I think they are exquisite. I recently spotted a couple of advertisements for kundan jewellery that Aishwarya Rai did for a jewellery brand and I thought those were really beautiful as well. So here is a collection of my favourite kundan jewelry pictures of Aishwarya Rai.
