Vidya Balan Cannes Film Festival

Vidya Balan wore her signature saree look to the Cannes Film Festival 2013 and looked marvellously elegant. Her Sabya Sachi saree and red anarkali dress were exquisite. It wasn't too over the top and yet was different. In the traditional white Sabya Sachi lehenga with broad black borders that she wore, I think taking the pallu on the side instead of on her head would have looked much better.
Prior to The Great Gatsby premiere, Vidya Balan wore her usual sari for a photo call of the jury members. Vidya wore her white sari with a full sleeves black blouse and a kundan jewellery neck piece which looked very beautiful.

Sonam Kapoor Lace Saree Cannes Film Festival

I love Sonam Kapoor. She's a style diva. She takes risks with her looks and almost always gets it right. But I was not impressed by her Cannes Film Festival Lace Saree. The White Lace Vintage Saree with the long jacket look and nose ring just looked like she was trying too hard to be different. She looked uncomfortable. For the dinner however, she chose the Elie Saab dress, almost like a frock, which was more Sonam Kapoor style and she looked happy, elegant an comfortable. Kareena Kapoor looks fabulous in her golden bridal lehenga with heavy kundan jewellery. Her red and black cocktail saree matched with a heavy kundan choker necklace and kundan maang tikka also looks stunning. I think she pairs kundan jewellery with both western and traditional outfits very well. Her green evening dress with a simple kundan necklace was so exquisitely beautiful. So were her kundan earrings matched with a nude coloured salwar kameez.

Indian Bridal Sarees - Net sarees and Chiffon sarees

Indian Bridal Fashion Week

Loved the use of colors in the Indian Bridal Fashion Week. Red, Gold, Pink, and Purple were the favorites at Indian Bridal Fashion Week. Below are a few of my favourite bridal dresses from Vikram Phadnis collection at the bridal fashion week. I preferred the color choices of Vikram Phadnis. They were bright and colorful and cheerful. Tarun Tahiliani's collection was elegant & gorgeous but it was white and cream for the most part.
