Sonam Kapoor 67th Cannes International Film Festival Kundan necklace

Sonam Kapoor chose to go with an Indian look for her second appearance on the red carpet of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival. She attended the screening of ‘Foxcatcher’ in a peachy transluscent Anamika Khanna couture sari with a twist. Keeping the focus on the outfit, she went minimalistic on the jewelry and makeup and chose to wear just a Sunita Kapoor kundan choker necklace with uncut kundan diamonds bordered by white pearls which looked brilliant. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo shoes and a Ferragamo clutch. Heres a look at Sonam Kapoor's 67th Cannes Film Festival outfit. 

Aishwarya Rai Cannes Film Festival Dresses

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made heads turn once again at the 66th Cannes Film Festival 2013, as she walked the red carpet in a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla floor-length anarkali with colourful heavy embroidery for the premiere of Blood Ties. And must I say that she looked pretty and is back definitely back in shape.

She wore a black with golden embroidery Sabyasachi lehenga-sari for the evening gala of Bombay Talkies celebrating a 100 years of Indian cinema. She also has matching golden hair accessory, which I thought was a bit much and unnecessary. But nevertheless, she looked resplendent. She won many a hearts in her black and grey Elie Saab couture gown at the premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis.

Vidya Balan Cannes Film Festival

Vidya Balan wore her signature saree look to the Cannes Film Festival 2013 and looked marvellously elegant. Her Sabya Sachi saree and red anarkali dress were exquisite. It wasn't too over the top and yet was different. In the traditional white Sabya Sachi lehenga with broad black borders that she wore, I think taking the pallu on the side instead of on her head would have looked much better.
Prior to The Great Gatsby premiere, Vidya Balan wore her usual sari for a photo call of the jury members. Vidya wore her white sari with a full sleeves black blouse and a kundan jewellery neck piece which looked very beautiful.

Sonam Kapoor Lace Saree Cannes Film Festival

I love Sonam Kapoor. She's a style diva. She takes risks with her looks and almost always gets it right. But I was not impressed by her Cannes Film Festival Lace Saree. The White Lace Vintage Saree with the long jacket look and nose ring just looked like she was trying too hard to be different. She looked uncomfortable. For the dinner however, she chose the Elie Saab dress, almost like a frock, which was more Sonam Kapoor style and she looked happy, elegant an comfortable.
