Sonam Kapoor 67th Cannes International Film Festival Kundan necklace

Sonam Kapoor chose to go with an Indian look for her second appearance on the red carpet of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival. She attended the screening of ‘Foxcatcher’ in a peachy transluscent Anamika Khanna couture sari with a twist. Keeping the focus on the outfit, she went minimalistic on the jewelry and makeup and chose to wear just a Sunita Kapoor kundan choker necklace with uncut kundan diamonds bordered by white pearls which looked brilliant. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo shoes and a Ferragamo clutch. Heres a look at Sonam Kapoor's 67th Cannes Film Festival outfit. 

Bollywood Wedding: Ahana Deol wedding and sangeet pics

Love bollywood celebrity weddings, always get to see great bridal outfits from the brides and the non-brides ;) Here's a sneak peak into Ahana Deol's (Esha Deol's sister and Hema Malini's daughter) wedding, reception and sangeet photos. Might I say Esha Deol looked stunning even with the arm injury. And Ahana Deol made a grand bride. Sonam Kapoor's white saree was nice but did not suit the colorful event. Deepika Padukone looked stunning as ever. Deepika Padukone's coral saree with gold border was simply beautiful. Coral must be the colour of the season since the bride Ahana Deol also chose to wear coral pink lehenga for her reception.















 

Indian Bridal Fashion Week Rohit Bal

Rohit Bal did two things right at the Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013. First, he made Sonam Kapoor his show stopper. There's no denying that Sonam Kapoor is the ultimate style diva in Bollywood right now. Second, he stuck to the basics of bridal lehengas and kept it real simple with flowy fabrics and traditional cholis and lehengas. No over-the-top embroidery or weird cuts that just dont look good on a bride. Absolutely loved Sonam Kapoor in the traditional Rohit Bal cream and golden lehenga choli with the dupatta neatly draped on one arm and tucked in on the other side.


Loved Rohit Bal's traditional red and golden bridal lehenga cholis. The velvet choli with delicate golden embroidery really steals the show.



I also liked his anarkali lehengas in black, red, golden and white. The mughal embroidery on the top instead of on the lehenga gives it a different look altogether.



These lovely cocktail sarees are a definite attention grabber because of the beautiful neckline on the blouses. The lace fabric beautifully contours the body shape giving it that sexy yet chic look.

Sonam Kapoor Lace Saree Cannes Film Festival

I love Sonam Kapoor. She's a style diva. She takes risks with her looks and almost always gets it right. But I was not impressed by her Cannes Film Festival Lace Saree. The White Lace Vintage Saree with the long jacket look and nose ring just looked like she was trying too hard to be different. She looked uncomfortable. For the dinner however, she chose the Elie Saab dress, almost like a frock, which was more Sonam Kapoor style and she looked happy, elegant an comfortable.
